A Writer's Journey

I sometimes ask myself why I think anyone would want to read what I have to say, or why I think I can write it, or how I got here?  All writers have some version of those same questions and we all have different answers. The common thread is a deep understanding of the “need” to write… we don’t choose it, it chooses us.

I’ve been reading Dr. Tom Bibey’s blog, Stories of the Bluegrass Music Road,  for a good while now. I love his Southern style and the combination of music, writing and doctoring he writes about.  Dr. B has finished his book and we’re in the waiting stages now!  His post this morning is a lovely description of his journey as a writer;  it spoke to me so I want to share it.

I’m going to borrow his category ” a writer’s journey” for awhile, if he’ll allow me.
